Consider your favorite piece of clothing—the well-worn flannel, cozy sweater, or lucky jersey. Behind each garment is a story: the fibers, the hands that crafted it, and the care required to stay in your wardrobe. Love, much like clothing, has a journey. Rooted in God’s love, it’s woven into our lives, connecting us to others and guiding our actions. As Paul writes to the Colossians, love binds us together through virtues like kindness, humbleness, calmness, steadfastness/patience, and forgiveness. These qualities strengthen our relationships, reflecting God’s love in every interaction and aligning us with the values that create the good life God wants for all of us.

We welcome as our guest preacher today Ashleigh Ellsworth-Keller, from Pass the Hat Partner Lutherwood Camp and Retreat Center in Bellingham.  Sarah Bliss, a Lutherwood Board member, will serve as Pass the Hat speaker. A special offering will be taken.

It’s time to reconnect as we kick off the 2026-2027 Christian Education program year! Explore how you can wear love. Rally Day 9:15-10:15                                                            Join the cross-generational celebration with special guest Ashleigh Ellsworth-Keller from Lutherwood.

• Make fleece pillows to help you remember you are loved.
• Hide messages around the church because you never know where you will find love.
• Send cards to members to share love.
• Bring food for neighbors so our love can go beyond our walls.
• Pack pet food for the Welcome Table so love can go to our animal friends.
• Explore even more ways to “Wear Love.” (Col. 3:12-14)
