Welcome to Peace! We’re so glad you found us.
This photo, taken by the James Webb Space Telescope, is of “The Pillars of Creation,” a formation of hydrogen gas and dust from which new stars are born. This formation—30 trillion miles across—is located in the Eagle Nebula, 6,500 light years from Earth. When the universe’s first generation of stars reached the end of their lifespans, they collapsed and exploding, hurling essential elements for life out from their cores and setting the stage for solar systems like ours to eventually form. When we peer back into deep time, we not only see God’s fingerprints in the finetuning of the universe, we see how connected we are at every level of existence—from the smallest microorganism to the largest stellar galaxy.
