“Anthropos” is Greek for “human being.” This week’s theme focuses on the role and impacts of our species on planet Earth.  As the link between human activity and climate breakdown becomes more evident, the decisions we make as a species become more and more critical. The Holocene Epoch—a period of tremendous stability and natural harmony for Earth—is ending, and we are entering the Anthropocene Epoch, the era of massive human impacts on Earth.

Our guest preacher today is New Testament scholar Rev. Dr. Barbara Rossing, a member of the board of Lutherans Restoring Creation (LRC).  Dr. Rossing will share the work of LRC, our newest Pass the Hat Partner.
