Sermon Title: Beginner's Mind

(Luke 11:1-13)

Nicole Klinemeier, July 24, 2016

Quick Summary:

When we adopt a "Beginner's Mind" we can enter freely into new activities unencumbered by a need to be an expert. This is true of prayer as well. Today's gospel invites us to be open, persistent, and willing to risk.

This year's confirmation class engaged in the questions of what is needful in our community today, and how we can engage with neighbor and world to make a difference? As a result of this process, , the Confirmands embraced the idea of building a Tiny House. That build takes place on the coming weekend.
